Employees receive so-called benefit points from their employers in addition to their wages, which they can use for their hobbies or health in their free time. According to the law, these are services in the field of recreation, health, culture, sports, education and books.
Basic rules of benefit points
As of 1 January 2024, the law regulates the use of benefits for leisure activities up to a limit of half of the average wage. For 2026, this amount is 24,483.50 CZK.
